The Oberkassel adventure playground is a public children's playground that is under pedagogical supervision. However, the supervisors have no duty to supervise the children, as in school or in kindergarten.
The pedagogy of the adventure playgrounds is aimed, among other things, at educating children to deal responsibly with dangers and not keeping them away from all risks from the outset.
Our target group are therefore children of school age, ie from 6-14 years.
Many play equipment, such as the ship and the construction area, are designed for children of this age group.
Younger children can also visit the adventure playground, but we ask that they to stay right next to your child during the entire visit, if they are not yet 6 years old.
In the animal area, the children must be accompanied, as even animals that are dear to them can buck or bite.
Please also note that the sand around the liana swing is fall protection, so digging with sand molds is not allowed there.
